The Women's Enrichment Ministry of Mars Hill Baptist Church desires to help women develop and strengthen their personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Throughout the year, we sponsor Bible studies, retreats, and conferences:

  • to lead women to faith in Jesus Christ;
  • to encourage women to make God’s Word the foundation of their life;
  • to enable women to discover and use their spiritual gifts to serve God;
  • to help women share their faith with others.



2009 Winter Bible Study

Beth Moore's Esther: It's Tough Being a Woman. Going up against heavyweights bent on her destruction, Esther trusted God and landed a blow that saved her people. The Old Testament story of Esther is a profile in courage and contains many modern parallels for today's woman. Esther's destiny can be yours as you know more deeply the God who is in your corner.

Ladies meet in Bob's Cafe every Wednesday morning at 9:30. It is led by Beth Smith. For more information please contact the church office.



Mars Hill Women's Retreat
March 20th - 22nd
Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

A Match Made in Heaven: The True Cinderella Story That's All About The Prince

Retreats are a special time for women in the church to break with their routine, get to know each other better, and begin to build life-long friendships. Retreats include time for fellowship, worship, Bible Study, and the opportunity to enjoy local attractions.

We will stay at the Sequoyah Manor Cabin at The Preserve Resort, located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. It appointed with 12 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms, and has a beautiful view of the Tennesee mountains. The cabin can sleep 50 adults with its 11 king size beds, 2 queen bunk beds, 2 queen sleeper sofas, and 11 futons.

We invite women of ALL ages to join us at Pigeon Forge. Our theme is "A Match Made in Heaven: The True Cinderella Story That's All About the Prince."

Our guest speaker will be Sandra Conner from Faith Baptist Church Monroe.

Sign up in church office by March 1st. The cost is $75.00 per person and includes 2 nights lodging, 2 breakfasts, 2 dessert bars, and transportation. Some scholarships are available. If you have any questions or need further information, contact Jennifer London or Beth Smith.
