Mission Statement:

Mars Hill Baptist Church believes:

• There is one and only one God, perfect and without sin. He created the universe and all things within it.
• God reveals Himself to us as a Holy Trinity, composed of the God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
• Mankind was created by God for fellowship with Him. God desires this fellowship with all people.
• We are creatures of free will, that is, we can choose to fellowship with God or reject Him. It is the decision we make that determines our eternal existence.
• The Bible is the literal, inspired Word of God.
• Due to mankind's inability to redeem itself, God sent His son, Jesus Christ, to earth to be born, live among mankind, and die by crucifixion for our sins, and to arise victorious over death. Shortly after his victory over death, Jesus Christ ascended into Heaven where he sits at the right hand of the Father, making intercession for mankind.
• A time, known only to God the Father, will pass when He will bring an end to this world. Only those who are righteous according to His measure will endure beyond this time.
• We believe that, as Christians, it is a responsibility, a duty and a joy to spread the Word of God to all who will listen.
