Faith-Filled Beginnings
Mars Hill Christian Preschool Academy
Mars Hill Christian Preschool has been a ministry of the church since 2007. Our goal is to introduce children to the things of God in a safe and caring environment. We create a nurturing environment rooted in faith, guiding our students' hearts and minds. Our commitment is evident in the daily activities, teachings, and interactions with our students. Inspired by our belief in the Bible, we share love, compassion, and understanding. Education for us goes beyond academics; it involves nurturing character, Christian principles, and a sense of purpose.
Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old, they will not turn from it. - Proverbs
Our Approach
We believe in providing a safe and loving environment where children can grow spiritually, socially, and academically. Our curriculum is designed to foster a love of learning and instill Christian values from an early age.
Our Programs
Our preschool offers a variety of programs tailored to meet the developmental needs of children at different stages. Whether it's our toddler class or pre-kindergarten, each program is designed to prepare your child for the next steps in their educational journey.
Our Teachers
Our dedicated and caring teachers are passionate about guiding each child’s growth. With a focus on Christian values and personalized attention, they create an environment where every child feels valued and encouraged.
Educators with a Higher Calling
Meet Our Team
The devoted teachers and staff at MHCPA are committed Christians who feel a calling from God to teach and mentor young students. With immense care for each child, they possess remarkable skills in working with students. Dedicated to creating a loving and secure environment, the teachers and staff aim to help students develop into the individuals God intended them to be. Their passion extends to partnering with parents to nurture the growth of each child's mind, heart, and character.
Nurturing Young Hearts and Minds
Our Curriculum
Faith-based Learning
Our biblically-based curriculum serves as a framework for teaching scriptural principles that align with Jesus' teachings of love, patience, and gratitude. We create an environment where children can explore their faith through age-appropriate Bible stories, scriptures, songs, and discussions. We encourage questions and teach our students about the Lord's love for them, pointing them to Him in a gentle and supportive manner.
Safe Environment
We prioritize the safety and well-being of our little learners. Our preschool is committed to creating a secure environment where children can explore, learn, and grow with confidence. We have implemented safety measures in an attempt to provide for the physical and emotional well-being of each child.
Flexible Class Options
We understand that every child is unique and learns at their own pace. That's why we offer a variety of classes tailored to different age groups. Whether your child is 2, 3, or 4 years old, we have engaging and age-appropriate activities that foster curiosity, creativity, and cognitive development. Our academy offers both 3-hour and 4-hour classroom opportunities, allowing you to design a schedule that aligns with your child's needs and your family's routine.
Learning Through Exploration
Exploration and discovery are integral to our daily activities. Children engage in guided activities, both individual and cooperative learning, as well as expressive experiences like sensory bins, water play, painting, and cooking. These activities foster imagination and hands-on learning.
Only KT Class Offered In Oconee County!
Kindergarten Transition Class
Kindergarten Transition Class is a ½ day class offered between Pre-K and Kindergarten. Our KT class promotes socialization, hands-on learning, literacy, and math that is tailored especially for young learners. The curriculum was designed specifically for the student that has completed a Pre-K class; however, parents want them to have another year before moving into Kindergarten. The class is guided by a combination of Georgia Pre-K and Kindergarten standards. With our small class size and teacher-student ratios, we are able to meet the needs of every student at his/her academic level.
